The most efficient way to capture the very essence of capital markets is to personally visit global financial institutions. London, which hosts headoffices of major global financial organizations, is – without doubt - the heart of the European finance.
That is why the Students’ Association “Profit” (the Poznan University of Economics) developed four years ago an educational initiative. In brief, a group of 15 students - sharing the same passion for the capital market - travels to London to meet and talk to investment bankers, traders, analysts and take close look at their work. The spirit of the City and Canary Wharf, a thrill of emotion while visiting trading floor and relaxation after hard work remain in powerful impression.
The London Study Excursion 2012 is held in May and - similarly to the previous years - includes visiting investment banks, private equity firms and information agencies. A new item in this year's edition is a cooperation with students from Brighton Uni . We hope it will be a unique incentive to start an international exchange of experience, views, knowledge and friendship
